What We Do
How Classrooms to Corporations works with Ohio's best companies to create Ohio's best workers
Our Program
C2C is a non-profit, tax exempt organization providing two levels of training to high school students, in each case using recycled and repurposed IT hardware from local corporations.
- The first level of training engages students through hands-on learning with technology equipment, teaching students to repurpose computers.
The second, and more advanced, level of training allows students to obtain certificate-level training – a distinguishing achievement and valued credential among corporations when it comes to student interns.
- C2C’s education program provides an extended life for technology equipment that would otherwise be disposed of by corporate or individual donors.
Not only is donated equipment used to educate, but, once repurposed by students, the equipment can be donated or sold by C2C to generate a supporting revenue stream. Where equipment cannot be repurposed, C2C proudly works with recyclers that have Responsible Recycling (R2) or e-Stewards certification.
